The marine park of Portofino allows diving in environments totally protected and uncontaminated. The waters of Tigullio therefore are ideal for any type of underwater activities, from immersion in apnea for the simple observation of the seabed until the scuba  diving cylinder for the study of marine flora and fauna.
For those who prefer practicing golf or tennis, the Rapallo Golf and Tennis Club, who was born in the early thirties and enriched Rapallo a tourist potential of great attraction and prestige, over the years has become known and appreciated worldwide. The golf course was born with nine holes and hundreds of plants that still today are one of its most important characteristics. In the seventies alongside the Monastery of Valle Christi, took place the enlargement
to 18 holes.
Rapallo becomes one of golf courses more scenographic in Italy, for the beauty of holes and for the presence of ancient trees that with their fronds contribute significantly to identify all areas of the course.
The Rapallo Golf and Tennis Club also includes 6 tennis courts (3 clay and 3 grass).

For lovers of sailing in Rapallo is possible to practice this sport in every season: the sea is full of boats of all kinds, from Optimist to beautiful sailings of all classes (Olympic or not) to large yachts .
Every year in May, in the sea in front of Portofino, takes place the "Trofeo Pirelli" an international sailing regatta organised by the Italian Yacht Club.

For lovers of hiking and trekking the hills and mountains surrounding the Tigullio offer various types of excursions: from simple walks to real trips and excursions. There is a large documentation of the paths that, over the whole region, constitute an excellent opportunity for lovers of trekking, which will enjoy breathtaking views: the proximity of the mountains to the sea in fact, with the typical steepness of bands on where the olives are poised overlooking the sea, allows incredibile observation points.
